NFL star Trevor Lawrence’s wife, Marissa Mowry, had a competitive high school and college life. Marissa Mowry’s soccer career was the center of her universe before marrying the love of her life.
Marissa Mowry and her husband, Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence, first crossed paths in high school five years ago. Since then, the couple has been inseparable, even attending the same university together.
In 2020, Lawrence proposed to his high school sweetheart, and the couple wed the following year. Mowry has managed to keep herself occupied by pursuing her dream job while also channeling her role as Lawrence’s supportive wife.

Mowry was born on November 10, 1999, and hails from Cartersville, Georgia. She went to Cartersville High School and then to Anderson University, where she graduated with a communications degree focused on public relations.
She was a former soccer player who had played the sport since she was five until she graduated from university. In November 2020, she wrote a farewell message about leaving soccer on Instagram.
Playing soccer, according to Mowry, was a “crucial part” of her life because it shaped her into the woman she is today. She also mentioned how she met many people and shared many memories with them.
Mowry’s rise to social media fame has been gradual since she retired from the sport. As of this writing, she has 302,000 followers on Instagram. Her bio describes her as the “Daughter of the King.”
Besides sharing sweet photos with her husband on her page, Mowry frequently shares about her dog and her family: parents Kelly and Steve, as well as her two sisters, Miranda and McKenzie.
The former soccer athlete is now an events planner at Love, Gigi Events. The career is just one of many feats she recently achieved at such a young age.
When she turned 22, she wrote a lengthy birthday message on Instagram about the beautiful things that happened at 21, such as wrapping up her soccer career, having her dream job in events planning, marrying Lawrence, and moving out of their hometown.
Mowry also revealed that they had bought their first home.
Although Mowry admitted in her post that she was nervous about moving to a new place, she was grateful that many of her friends and loved ones supported her and her husband in this new chapter. She added:
“I feel so blessed to have walked into such an amazing place with amazing people!! 22 has already been so sweet.”

Mowry and Lawrence began dating back in 2016 while still in high school. She has been updating her Instagram followers about their relationship milestones. In a post on April 24, 2017, Mowry shared a sweet photo of them dressed up to the nines.
She shared the post to celebrate their “11 amazing months” together. In March 2018, the good-looking couple left their followers swooning with a photo of the pair taken at their senior prom.
Lawrence held her back as he pulled her leg against his hips, and they stared lovingly into each other’s eyes. The loved-up couple became engaged in 2020.
They celebrated the occasion with a beautiful engagement photo shoot inside the Clemson University stadium, where Trevor Lawrence played and won games. Mowry shared their engagement photos on Instagram in August 2020.
The couple exchanged marital vows in April 2021, and Mowry proudly uploaded jaw-dropping images from the wedding ceremony online, with a caption referring to Lawrence as “my love forever.”
During 2022 New Year’s Day, Mowry reflected on the significant events of her life during the previous year, recalling how grateful and happy she was to marry Lawrence. Mowry also revealed that they had bought their first home.
Mowry is not one to stop publicly declaring her love and adoration for her husband. She recently snapped photos of herself with her friends supporting him from the stands. She wrote that she’s “forever a fan of 16,” referring to her husband’s jersey number.
